The tool works by letting you choose which types of light you’d like to use in a sample room. You can turn the different styles of light on or off to see the result. The tool gives you a good idea of the effect of adding or taking away lights in the room.
An introductory video discusses techniques of designing with light. Designer Stephen Saint Ongc talks you through several general aspects of lighting up a space. The tool lets you play with light in many rooms of the house including the kitchen, bathroom, dining room, bedroom, office, and living room.
While you can’t see your own kitchen space lit with this tool, it will help give you a general idea of the way specific lights work to illuminate spaces.
